Contour Airlines Announces Service from Santa Barbara to Oakland and Las Vegas
Introductory Fares Available For $59 Each Way
Smyrna, Tennessee (August 27, 2018)—Contour Airlines today announced it will operate daily service between Santa Barbara and Oakland beginning October 16thand five weekly flights between Santa Barbara and Las Vegas beginning October 18th. To celebrate the launch of the route, Contour is offering an introductory fare of just $59 each way for tickets purchased by September 7th.
Contour will operate 30-seat Embraer ERJ-135 aircraft between the two cities featuring all leather seating with expanded legroom, complimentary snacks and beverages, and a free checked bag included with every fare.
The routes introduce two new markets, Santa Barbara and Las Vegas, into Contour’s growing West Coast network. Within the past six months, Contour has also initiated service in Oakland, CA, Phoenix, AZ, Page, AZ, and Crescent City, CA. “We see an incredible opportunity in Santa Barbara to provide point-to-point service to these high-demand, short haul markets,” according to Matt Chaifetz, Chief Executive Officer of Contour. “Santa Barbara residents can now avoid a long and unpredictable drive to the Los Angeles-area gateways and fly from their convenient hometown airport.”
